INSTALLATION

DIY-friendly — apply thread sealant and thread in by hand, then snug with a wrench.

PRO TIPS

  • Some sight-glass ports use a parallel BSP thread sealed by a bonded washer rather than a tapered thread — check whether your port relies on a sealing washer before assuming PTFE tape alone will stop a weep.
