Ulka EP5 Vibratory Pump (120V)
This is the same Ulka Type EP5 vibration pump that ships stock in the current Rancilio Silvia, and it turns up in plenty of other home machines — and occasionally in light commercial duty. If your machine is losing pressure or has gone eerily quiet on brew, this is very often the part.

INSTALLATION
A moderate DIY job — swapping the pump means disconnecting water lines and re-wiring the leads, straightforward for an owner comfortable with basic wiring, but a technician is a safe call if you're not.
PRO TIPS
- Before ordering, confirm the 91 mm foot spacing — other Ulka models (EP4, EX5) use the same barb fittings but a different mounting footprint, so it's an easy part to mis-order by size alone.
- A pump that's grown noticeably louder or buzzier over time, or that runs continuously without ever building brew pressure, is usually on its way out — replace it before it strands you mid-shift.
