3/8" Water Softener Valve Fitting

This valve fitting connects a water softener or filtration line to DVA-equipped espresso machines. It steps down from a 3/8" male BSP thread and 10mm barb to a 3/8" female BSP thread.

SPECIFICATIONS

  • Thread: 3/8" M BSP x 10 mm barb x 3/8" F BSP

COMPATIBILITY

  • Fits: DVA water softener/filtration systems

INSTALLATION

Simple DIY swap; PTFE tape on the male threads is recommended for a leak-free seal.

PRO TIPS

  • Wrap the male BSP threads with 2-3 turns of PTFE tape before installing — the barbed hose end also benefits from a stainless clamp rather than relying on friction fit alone.
