Rubber Backflush Disk (Blind Filter) – 50mm

A 50mm rubber blind filter for backflushing solenoid-operated group heads on commercial espresso machines — a must-have for any bar running a daily cleaning cycle.

COMPATIBILITY

  • Fits: commercial group heads with a three-way solenoid valve; can sometimes work in a bottomless portafilter depending on basket perforation size
  • Replaces: Ascaso C..256, Bianchi 0525721, Carimali 87.00104, Cimbali 457-058-000/457-114-000, Expobar 75000000, Faema 457058000, Nuova Ricambi 700613, Pavoni 371067, Promac/Rancilio 38123057, Ricambi Gardosi C344
  • Not suitable for: lever machines or units without a three-way solenoid valve

INSTALLATION

Remove your portafilter basket, insert the blind filter with the flat portion covering the spout hole, and orient the small protrusion upward for easy removal after backflushing.

PRO TIPS

  • Not every home semi-automatic needs this: Saeco Aroma, Via Venezia, Sirena, Breville, Francis Francis/illy, DeLonghi, and Capresso machines don't have a solenoid dispensing valve, so backflushing does nothing for them — save your money if that's what you're running.
  • If your basket's perforations are wider than this disk's 50mm diameter, water can bypass the disk during backflushing in a bottomless portafilter — check basket hole spacing before relying on this for bottomless cleaning.
