The EPDM seal that lives inside Bezzera's steam and water valve assembly. It's a small part, but it's the one that actually stops the valve from weeping at rest.

  • A hardened or flattened version of this seal is the usual culprit behind a steam valve that weeps water even when it's fully closed. If tightening the valve packing nut doesn't stop a slow drip, this seal - not the packing - is almost always the actual fix.
