INSTALLATION

Simple DIY replacement, but handle with care — glass tubes are the fragile point of this job.

PRO TIPS

  • Order two if this is your first time replacing one — cracking the glass while seating it into the gaskets or over-tightening the retaining nuts is a very common first-attempt mishap, and having a spare on hand saves a second shipping wait.
  • Replace both sight glass gaskets (AS_26) at the same time — reusing old, compressed gaskets is a common cause of a new glass cracking or weeping at the seal.
