A small 12 x 6.2 x 1mm copper crush washer used in two spots on La Marzocco machines: under the group bleed screws and at the sight glass fitting.

PRO TIPS

  • Because it's copper, this washer work-hardens and takes a permanent compression set the first time it's torqued down — reusing an old one after removing a bleed screw or sight glass is a common source of small weeping leaks that look like a bigger problem than they are.
