A pressure relief safety valve sized for home and small-volume single-boiler espresso machines, calibrated to release at 2.1 bar (30.45 psi).

SPECIFICATIONS

  • Calibration pressure: 2.1 bar (30.45 psi)
  • Connection: 1/4"

COMPATIBILITY

  • Fits: home and small-volume boiler espresso machines with a 1/4" safety valve port
  • Replaces: Nuova Simonelli #98013021 (current), which superseded the earlier 1.8 bar #98013020

Technician-recommended - this is a safety-critical pressure relief component.

PRO TIPS

  • This valve is rated at a higher 2.1 bar than the earlier Nuova Simonelli 1.8 bar valve it replaces - don't substitute a lower-pressure safety valve on a boiler spec'd for 2.1 bar, and never disable or bypass a boiler safety valve for any reason. View the manufacturer's certificate here.
