Espresso Parts HQ Ridgeless Portafilter Basket – 21g+
The largest of Espresso Parts' EPHQ ridgeless basket lineup, shaped after the popular MZ_107A "Marzocco" double 14-gram ridgeless basket that baristas consistently rave about — only bigger. Every hole is laser-cleaned on the inside to remove perforation burrs and leaves a distinct sunburst finish, so water distributes more evenly through the puck during extraction.

COMPATIBILITY
- Fits: portafilters that can accept a tall triple basket
- Will NOT fit: portafilters bundled with any "Espresso Italiano" certified machine (including newer Astoria and Wega "ergonomic" portafilters, which are certified to only accept a 12-gram basket), or the narrow-diameter portafilters used on La Cimbali, La San Marco, and La Spaziale
- Fits (barely): newer-version Rancilio portafilters
INSTALLATION
Drop-in replacement, no tools needed — just confirm your portafilter has the clearance for a 28mm-tall basket first.
PRO TIPS
- It's easier to rule this basket out than in: if your machine shipped with an "Espresso Italiano" certified portafilter, skip this basket entirely — it won't seat. When in doubt, measure your current basket's height against the 28mm spec before ordering rather than guessing from the machine model alone.
