PRO TIPS
- This turns a batch-brew grinder into a workable single-dose espresso grinder in a pinch, but dial in expecting more retention and static than a dedicated espresso grinder produces. Knock the portafilter gently against your palm after grinding to settle the grounds before tamping - the wider adapter opening means grounds don't always fall as uniformly as they would through a true espresso chute.
