La Marzocco Group Head Screen Screw
Stainless steel diffuser screw ("vite di diffusore") that holds the group head screen in place on La Marzocco machines. This is the older perforated version, which La Marzocco is gradually phasing out, though it remains in wide use on tens of thousands of machines.

INSTALLATION
Simple DIY replacement during group screen service — remove the screen retaining screw and swap in the new one.
PRO TIPS
- If water isn't dispersing evenly across the puck, check that the holes in this screw aren't clogged with scale or coffee fines before assuming the screen itself needs replacing — the two work together and either can cause channeling.
