A complete rebuild kit for the La Marzocco Linea and FB-70 steam valve, including the brass piston shaft with gasket, piston spring, spring bushing, two small piston shaft o-rings, two larger valve-body articulation o-rings for wand movement, a cotter pin, and the copper valve body crush washer. La Marzocco recommends servicing this valve every three to four months to keep it moving smoothly and sealing reliably.

INSTALLATION
Technician-level job — requires depressurizing the steam boiler, removing the valve assembly, and working with snap rings and a cotter pin; every component in the machine can still be hot.
PRO TIPS
- Before starting, shut the ball valve on the steam supply line (or fully depressurize the boiler if there isn't one) and open the steam valve to bleed off residual pressure — skipping this is the most common way people get burned during this job.
- When reassembling, apply food-safe silicone lubricant liberally to every part, including the spring, so the valve moves freely and the o-rings don't bind or tear on reinsertion.
- You'll need a 16-17mm wrench for the rear supply fitting and a 26mm wrench for the front fixing nut — use a guard or extreme care on the front nut since a slipping wrench can easily mar the valve body.
