La Pavoni High Limit Reset Thermostat
Manual-reset high-limit thermostat for La Pavoni machines. If you've been directed here after searching for the old brown fuse (part P15A), this is the better long-term fix — La Pavoni Srl in Italy no longer uses the brown fuse at all, and it was only fitted to some models built between roughly 1991 and 1996 before being phased out.

INSTALLATION
A job for someone comfortable with basic electrical work; the M4 nut for fixing the clip to the element flange is not included.
PRO TIPS
- Apply a thin smear of thermal grease to the sensing head before bolting or clamping the thermostat down — it fills microscopic gaps between the switch and the contact surface for accurate heat transfer, and it's especially important on pipe-mount installs. Don't use it as an adhesive.
- Look for a thermal compound rated for long-term stability so it won't harden, dry out, or melt in normal use — a degraded thermal interface is a common reason a "new" high-limit thermostat still trips inconsistently.
