A solid blank disk that replaces your basket for backflushing — it seals the portafilter so backflush detergent gets forced back up through the group's three-way solenoid valve instead of draining straight through.

COMPATIBILITY

  • Fits: any La San Marco commercial solenoid-operated group head

INSTALLATION

Drops into your portafilter in place of the basket — no tools needed.

PRO TIPS

  • Run backflush cycles in short 5-10 second bursts with a pause between them rather than one long flush — it gives the solenoid valve time to cycle and actually clean the parts of the three-way valve it's designed to flush.
