Lever Piston Rebuild Kit – Astoria, Brasilia, Faema, La Pavoni Commercial, Nuova Simonelli & Wega
A complete reseal kit for classic piston-lever espresso groups, covering every gasket and o-ring the piston assembly needs in one order. Includes 3x AS_31 piston gaskets, 1x upper piston o-ring, 1x lower piston o-ring, a 6mm flat group head gasket, and the screen. Spring is sold separately.
COMPATIBILITY
- Fits: commercial piston-lever espresso groups on Astoria, Brasilia, Faema, La Pavoni (COMMERCIAL machines only - not the home Europiccola/Professional line), Nuova Simonelli, and Wega
- Replaces: individual components sold separately as AS_31 (piston gaskets) plus upper/lower piston o-rings and group gasket
INSTALLATION
Technician-level - requires a full piston teardown, moderate difficulty for an experienced DIYer.
PRO TIPS
- Read "La Pavoni" carefully: this kit fits COMMERCIAL La Pavoni lever machines only. The home Europiccola/Professional lever machines use differently sized piston seals, and ordering by brand name alone is the most common mistake we see with this kit.
- Replace all three piston gaskets as a set even if only one looks worn - they're stacked in the bore and wear together, so a mismatched-age set will seat unevenly.
- Lightly coat the new gaskets with food-safe silicone grease before installing; it eases piston travel and prevents the gaskets from rolling out of their grooves during reassembly.
