INSTALLATION

Moderate difficulty - requires removing the burr carrier, and the grind zero-point should be reset after installation; many owners have a technician handle the recalibration.

PRO TIPS

• Watch for the classic worn-burr symptom on a Mini Electronic: you have to dial in noticeably finer just to hold the same shot time, and the puck feels powdery rather than sandy when you dose it - that's worn burrs, not a machine problem. Also double-check rotation before ordering: several similar-looking Mazzer burr sets are left-hand rotation, and a right-hand set won't grind correctly in a left-hand carrier even though it may still spin.
