145°C High-Limit Thermostat
A 145°C (293°F) high-limit safety thermostat with an M4 threaded stud, suitable as a replacement for Ascaso's I.994. This is a hand-tight fit by design — the thread is not meant to seat flush against the element flange.

INSTALLATION
Technician-level — installs directly on the heating element.
PRO TIPS
- Do not try to thread this in flush with the element flange — the threads deliberately won't seat fully, and forcing it risks snapping the stem off inside the element; hand-tight is sufficient.
- Before installing, smear thermal paste on the sensing head so it reads actual element temperature rather than lagging — this synthetic grease resists drying out or hardening over time, but it's a heat-transfer aid only, not an adhesive.
