Nuova Simonelli High-Limit Boiler Thermostat – 135°C
Safety high-limit thermostat that cuts power to the heating element if boiler temperature exceeds 135°C, protecting against runaway heating from a failed primary control.

INSTALLATION
Should be installed by a qualified technician since it's a critical safety device wired into the heating circuit.
PRO TIPS
- Always apply thermal grease to the sensing head before mounting — without it, microscopic air gaps between the thermostat and boiler surface delay heat transfer, which can cause the thermostat to trip late or inconsistently. It's a heat-transfer aid only, not an adhesive, so don't rely on it to hold the bracket in place.
- This synthetic grease resists hardening and won't dry out or melt under normal boiler temperatures, so a single application should last the life of the thermostat.
