This is the updated black valve actuation star for Barista Basics pitcher rinsers, redesigned with preventive ridges molded into the star for a better grip when you're depressing it hundreds of times a shift. It's a standard-fit component across the entire Barista Basics rinser lineup, part of Espresso Parts' own Barista Basics line of bar tools designed by baristas, for baristas.

DIY — a quick swap for the worn star inside the rinser valve mechanism.
PRO TIPS
- The added grip ridges are there for a reason — a worn-smooth star (the older design) is a common cause of a rinser valve that feels mushy or fails to actuate fully on a fast bump; swapping in the ridged version usually restores a crisp, positive click.
