A thicker, 1.2 mm diameter portafilter spring used to secure basket into the portafilter body. Better suited to manufacturers like Astoria and Gaggia, whose milled spring channel runs wider than most other brands.

INSTALLATION
Simple DIY replacement — pry the old spring out and press the new one into the milled channel.
