PTFE Gasket for 3/8" Fittings

A PTFE gasket sized for 3/8" fittings, most commonly used to seal steam and hot water wand/pipe fixing nuts to their valves, though it shows up in other 3/8" sealing applications too. Replaces Ascaso I.1183.

Simple DIY gasket swap.

PRO TIPS

  • PTFE gaskets don't compress and rebound like rubber — snug the nut down until it stops, don't over-torque trying to "seal it more," since PTFE seals by being cut into slightly rather than squeezed.
