Rancilio Epoca DE Dosing Circuit
This membrane-and-circuit-board dosing assembly is built for the automatic DE Epoca, and also works as a retrofit replacement for the discontinued R_518 or R_1185 on CD and S models.
COMPATIBILITY
- Fits: Rancilio Epoca DE (automatic)
- Replaces: R_518, R_1185 on CD and S models (retrofit)
INSTALLATION
A technician-level retrofit on CD/S models — it requires either trimming the silicone touchpad and cutting off the first four buttons so it clears the front panel, or removing the "espresso" badge to expose all five buttons (though only the continuous-flow button will function in that configuration). A straight DE-to-DE replacement is simpler DIY work.
PRO TIPS
- If retrofitting into a CD or S model, decide upfront which panel modification you prefer — the badge-removal method is reversible and non-destructive, while trimming the touchpad is not.
