M4 x 7mm Pan Head Screw - Rancilio Grinders & Silvia

A low pan head, flat-slot M4 x 7mm screw in 304 stainless steel (DIN 84, 0.7mm thread pitch) — it's the exact screw Rancilio uses in several places, so grabbing the wrong M4 length is an easy way to end up with a screw that's too short to bite or too long to seat flush.

COMPATIBILITY

  • Fits: Rancilio Rocky, MD-40, MD-50 and MD-80 grinders; also used as the Rancilio Silvia cowling screw

INSTALLATION

DIY — standard flat-blade screwdriver.

PRO TIPS

  • Stainless steel resists galling, but don't overtighten into the grinder housing threads — snug is sufficient, and forcing it can still strip the housing's threads over repeated use.
