PTFE Ball Gasket for Rancilio Steam Wand
This is the small PTFE collar that lets a ball-joint steam wand swivel smoothly instead of binding or leaking at the nut. The bore is beveled on purpose — that bevel is what rides against the ball and lets the wand rotate freely.

- Straight from Rancilio's technical department: take care when replacing this collar to avoid damage, and confirm it's seated correctly in its groove before you mount the wand. If it's sitting crooked, gently correct it with a screwdriver rather than forcing the wand nut down over it — cinching it in place misaligned is what causes the wand to bind or weep at the swivel.
