Rancilio Silvia Pro Stainless Supply Hose - 490mm
Updated OEM stainless supply hose designed for the Rancilio Silvia Pro and X models, connecting the pump to the expansion (OPV) valve. Rancilio revised this hose to work with a newer elbow fitting instead of the old compression-style connection.
SPECIFICATIONS
- 490 mm length, British Standard Pipe (BSP) threads, 1/8" F x 1/8" M
COMPATIBILITY
- Fits: Rancilio Silvia Pro and X models — for older Version 1-4 models or the newer E and M, see part R_3617 instead
- Works with: connects to the pump via an elbow fitting and threads directly into the expansion (OPV) valve
INSTALLATION
Moderate DIY job: remove the old fitting from the expansion valve water inlet, wrap the hose's male threads with PTFE (plumber's) tape, thread it into the valve, then remove the old compression fitting from the pump's water outlet, install the new elbow fitting on the pump, and thread the hose's female end onto it.
PRO TIPS
- Use PTFE tape on every fitting that seals cold water in this run — it's the standard recommendation for these BSP connections.
