Rancilio Steam Wand O-ring – Viton
Viton O-ring for the Rancilio steam wand, sealing the nut against the ball joint below the steam ball. Rancilio's stock o-ring here is EPDM; this Viton version offers better long-term heat and steam resistance in the same dimensions.
SPECIFICATIONS
- 2.62 mm thick x 11.91 mm inside diameter (OR 0115)
- Viton construction (same spec as Nuova Simonelli S_260, made in EPDM)
COMPATIBILITY
- Fits: Rancilio and Magister steam wands, sight glasses, and the Gaggia Deco steam wand spring seat
- Replaces: Rancilio #36404001; also cross-references to Bezzera, Gaggia, Lavazza, Nuova Simonelli, RDL, Saeco, and Spaziale part numbers of the same OR 0115 spec
- Works with: group flange applications on Conti machines and a range of La Spaziale hydraulic assemblies
INSTALLATION
Quick DIY replacement — lightly lubricate before seating to avoid pinching during install.
PRO TIPS
- If your steam wand ball joint feels stiff or weeps steam at the collar even after replacing the ball seat, this o-ring — not the ball itself — is usually the actual failure point since it's the softer, more heat-exposed component.
- Because this OR 0115 size is used across many brands' hydraulics (Spaziale, Magister, Gaggia Deco, Conti group flanges), keep a couple on hand if you service mixed equipment — it's one of the most universal wear parts in the shop.
