Rocker Switch Membrane Cover
This silicone membrane boot stretches over a rocker switch to seal out steam, splashed water, and coffee grounds — one of the most overlooked causes of intermittent or "sticky" switch behavior on a busy bar. It's a cheap insurance policy for a part that's a pain to source in a pinch.
SPECIFICATIONS
- External dimensions: 29 x 36 mm
- Mounting hole opening: 22 x 30 mm
COMPATIBILITY
- Fits: most standard espresso machine rocker switches with a 22 x 30 mm mounting cutout
INSTALLATION
A simple DIY snap-on fit — no tools, no disassembly, just stretch it over the switch bezel.
PRO TIPS
- Measure your panel's cutout, not the switch body — these covers are sized to the 22 x 30 mm mounting hole, and a switch with a larger bezel will still fit as long as the hole matches.
- On machines near a knock box or rinse tray, a cracked or missing membrane is a common hidden cause of switches that stick or feel "gritty" — grounds and moisture get into the rocker mechanism and gum up the contacts.
