Sanremo 1/4" Anti-Vacuum Valve with Barb
Also called a siphon, anti-siphon, or vacuum breaker valve — it lets air escape the boiler as water heats, hissing briefly, then sealing shut once the boiler reaches operating pressure and temperature.
SPECIFICATIONS
- 1/4" thread
- Barbed outlet, 8 mm O.D. — compatible with silicone tubing to route condensation to a drain
- Boiler sealing gasket not included

INSTALLATION
Boiler fitting work — recommended for an experienced technician.
PRO TIPS
- Route the barbed outlet to a drain with silicone tubing rather than leaving it open — that hissing during heat-up carries condensation with it, and an unrouted valve will drip inside the machine over time.
