Sanremo Steam Valve Front Rebuild Kit - Old Style F18 (Square Body)

This is the rebuild kit for the older square-body steam valves used in the F18 up through 2023 — NOT for the newer cam-system valves. It's the genuine Sanremo kit (#KREVRUBF18A) and covers every wear part in the front valve assembly: shaft o-rings, anti-siphon o-ring, body washer, knob bearing and self-locking nut, closing spring, and seal.

SPECIFICATIONS

  • Includes: 626-2RS SKF bearing, F_326 flat seal, MZ_417 M6 self-locking nut, F_329 spring, F_61MZ copper gasket, OR 2021 small o-ring, F_331 larger o-rings

COMPATIBILITY

  • Fits: Sanremo F18 square-body steam valves (produced through 2023)
  • Not for: the newer cam-system steam valves
  • Replaces: Sanremo #KREVRUBF18A

INSTALLATION

A moderate-difficulty valve teardown suited to an experienced home tech or technician; Molykote 111 silicone lubricant is required to properly seat and lubricate the new o-rings.

PRO TIPS

  • Before ordering, confirm your valve is the older square-body design — the cam-system valves introduced in 2023 use a completely different rebuild kit, and this one's o-rings won't seal correctly on the new design.
  • Skipping the Molykote 111 on the new o-rings is the most common reason a "rebuilt" valve still weeps or feels stiff — silicone grease isn't optional here, it's what lets the o-rings seat and move properly under repeated steam cycles.
